Ghandruk

Ghandruk is one popular place for tourism. It is very beautiful place, which is located Kaski district, Gandaki zone of Nepal. It is naturally beautiful place lies in Annapurna Conservation Area. It is best for tourism, climbing mountain, celebrate holidays, sightseeing, study of nature and more.

Beautiful place Ghandruk, where ‘Gurung’ people live in majority. Still now here is traditional house, Gurung culture traditional which attract people and show tradition and Nepal is unique country of the world.

Mainly here’s people are farmer but now a day’s people are attracted by tourism. Here’s lodge are like traditional home but all facilities are available. We can study of nature and Gurung culture, here is also museum, where is about past people’s life history and their life style.

If you want to tour Ghandruk, way is Pokhara to Nayapul, then Birethati to Ghandruk. It is trekking area, best toor is Ghandruk to Ghorepani, it is complete within 3 or 4 days. We can see nice seen of “Annapurna”(7219)m, “Machhchhapuchhre”(6993)m, “Hiuchuli”(6441)m mountain and more. It is also way of climbing ABC, MBC.

Here’s people are helpful and hard-workers, some people breed, Chaurigai( yak),sheep, buffalo. Still now some people live in byre in jungle.

Here is many animals and birds, here is not allowed for hunting. In jungle of Ghandruk, where is many conservative animals and birds are conserve. Here is also Rhododendron.

Finally, it is very nice and beautiful place of Nepal.
